Cafe #22: Seafood Stew

Ring ring! Look who's got another new recipe? Hello everyone, Junne here with a new recipe. I know it's been a while since I last posted one but I have been feeling lazy (for the 100th time) and plus I didn't really know what type of recipe to post....until a couple of weeks ago. I was on Amazon Fresh shopping for groceries and something popped in my mind to make soup/stew with some seafood in it. So I decided to order some seafood and the rest is history. I intended on making it a couple of weeks ago, but the delivery delay made it impossible until it finally arrived last Thursday. My mom loved it so much and I just had some for dinner as leftovers. Therefore, in today's recipe, we are going to make Seafood Stew! Let's get started!

Serving Size: About 8-10 people. If you're making it for more than that, double up the recipe and use a second Pot!

Cooking Time: 55-60 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 Bag of Sea Best Shrimp and Crab Pot

1 Bag of Sea Best Bay Scallops 16 oz

1 Bag of Sea Best Cooked Shrimp 51-60

3 Strips of Green Onion

1 Small Carton of Whipping Cream

1/2 Cup of Milk

2 Cartons of Seafood Stock 32oz

Seasonings:

Old Bay

Thyme

Parsley

Black Pepper

Garlic Pepper

Oregano

Garlic and Herb

Seafood Grill Rub

Himalayan Pink Salt

Lemon and Pepper

Cookware:

1 Large Pot 16=18 oz

2 Large Bowls

1 Measuring Cup

1 Ladle

Optional:

1 Small Bowl

Melted Butter with Parsley

Hot Sauce

Instructions:

1) Using the large bowls, pour half of the carton of whipping cream in each bowl.

2) Pour the 1/2 cup of milk into each bowl. Then place the shrimp in one bowl and the scallops in the other.

3) Optional: Take 2 spoonfuls of butter and place it into a small bowl with parsley in the microwave for 20 seconds. Then pour into each bowl.

4) Sprinkle some old bay, seafood grill rub, and thyme into each bowl. Mix the ingredients together and let the shrimp and scallops marinate in the bowls for 30 minutes.

5) After 30 minutes, pour the seafood stock into the large pot and let it boil for 20 minutes.

6) Next, pour the shrimp, scallops, and shrimp and crab mix into the pot and let it cook for 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle the rest of the seasonings in there and stir occasionally. Optional: If you want to make the boil a little spicy, sprinkle some hot sauce in it.

7) Enjoy!
