Ring ring! The Cafe has another recipe added to its menu! Readers, hello! Junne here with another new post! I know it's been a while since I posted a recipe on here but I decided to post another one because this Recipe is to die for. Serious but not serious, that's how good it tastes. I came up with this Recipe myself and have been planning on making it since like a couple of months ago but for some reason couldn't find the time to do it. Of course, I love Italian cuisine so this recipe involves two of my favorites: Tortellini and Shrimp. Therefore in this new Recipe, we're going to make Shrimp Tortellini. Let's get started, shall we?
Serving Size: About 3-4 people. As always, if you want to make more than the serving size, double the recipe up!
Ingredients/Cooking Tools:
Rana Spinach & Cheese Tortellini 20oz
Rana Pesto Sauce 7 oz
Rana Portobello Mushroom Sauce 11 oz
Roundy's Fisherman's Reserve Raw Shrimp Easy Peel 31-40 ct 1 IB (You can even use cooked Shrimp or whatever brand of Shrimp you prefer. I just used raw Shrimp and this brand because this is the only type of Shrimp they had at the store).
Roundy's Shredded Mozzarella & Provolone Cheese Blend 8oz (Like with the Shrimp above, you can use any brand you want but just make sure it's the same flavor).
1 half clove of Garlic
Seasonings:
Parsley
Garlic Salt
Butter Buds
Thyme Leaves
Pepper
1 Knife
1 Large Spoon
1 Small Cup
1 Large Skillet
1 Medium Pot
1 Medium Bowl
Microwave
Optional:
1 Tablespoon of Butter
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
Directions:
1) Heat the skillet on the stove for about 5 minutes and pour the Shrimp into the skillet.
2) Cook the shrimp until it turns pink. If you have already cooked Shrimp, just cook it on the stove for about 5-10 minutes.
3) While the Shrimp is cooking, pour the seasons on there and cut up half a clove of Garlic and pour it into the Skillet.
4) As the Shrimp is cooking, boil the water for the Tortellini (Optional: Pour 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil in the pot).
5) After the water finishes boiling, follow the instructions on the Tortellini packet and boil it for about 4 minutes.
6) After the Tortellini finishes boiling, pour the water from it into the sink and keep the pasta in the Pot (Optional: Take 1 Tablespoon of butter and mix it with the pasta). Then take the Shrimp off the Skillet.
7) Mix about a half cup of Pesto Sauce into the Tortellini and pour all of the Portobello Mushroom Sauce into the pasta.
8) Take a bowl and pour half of the Tortellini into the bowl and half of the Shrimp into the bowl. Next, sprinkle a cup of Shredded Cheese on top of it. Then layer the bowl with more Tortellini and Shrimp and pour another cup of Shredded Cheese on top of it.
9) Place the bowl into the Microwave for 2 minutes.
10) Bon appetite!
I forgot to take a picture of it, but it should look something similar to this:
